Hot Iron Hot Takes #6: Smelted Opinions from the Steel Mill Rant Room

Our honest, sometimes terrible post-game breakdowns win, lose, or draw.

  1. Why would anyone have assumed the Dolphins could perform in frigid Pittsburgh? Sent them packing for the offseason.

  2. The Minkah stiff-arm. Omar Khan won last night’s game with the Fitzpatrick trade for Jalen Ramsey (one sack) and Jonnu Smith (one rushing touchdown).

  3. Family pedigree trumps injury history, and aren’t yinz glad Asante Samuel Jr. is on our team? Man had a three-interception playoff game with the Chargers before they released him following a spinal injury, which was then repaired by spinal fusion surgery, performed by Stillers team doctor David Okonkwo. His two-time Super Bowl champion daddy recorded 51 career regular-season interceptions and is the all-time leader in playoff interception return yards, playoff pick-sixes, and playoff pass deflections.

  4. All of this ‘it’s going to be a defensive playoff’ talk. We’re wrecking the bracket when we get to the dance.

  5. Kenny G is the feature running back; New Deal Kenny G.

  6. Why can’t we play like this every game? WTF. I’m sure we’ll find a way to look inept against Detroit.
